You don’t always have to dream big
while I LOVE to dream and always encourage people to take their dreams seriously, I don’t believe that we always have to dream BIG to design lives we love. In fact sometimes the pressure to do so can get in the way of us going after what will really make us feel happy and fulfilled in life.
How to get a healthy buzz
Going slow can be SO nourishing for our soul and nervous system and YET, if you are someone who has been used to going 100mph, you might find yourself feeling restless when you go slow and missing the buzz of high speed living. If that happens to you then it could be time to find some other healthier ways of getting the buzz you need without needing to step back into an adrenalised way of living.
What do you need to forgive yourself for?
As you look back at last year, is there anything you need to forgive yourself for? Did you push yourself too hard? did you give up too easily on a dream that was important to you? did you burn yourself out from working too much and not knowing how to care for yourself? We are all imperfect human beings and so we will all from time to time need to forgive ourselves (and one another) so let’s do that…
Abundance and Money Mindset with Dr Tilean
Dr Tilean is a chartered psychologist (and my former coach) and she is THE QUEEN at helping people step out of their self-limiting narratives and fully into their power, particularly when it comes to abundance, money and fully living your dreams.
And so THAT is why I wanted to bring her onto Club You as a special guest expert.
We dive deep into the topics of Abundance, Money Mindsets, Upper Limiting and how to get out of our own way and step back into your power.
The power of ritual and wonder in our lives with Tiu de Haan
When it comes to connecting with wonder in the day to day and creating daily rituals that help us to feel a deeper connection to ourselves and life, Tiu de Haan is the QUEEN. So I HAD to have her in Club You offering us her wisdom on bringing wonder back into our daily lives, how to design rituals to help us process big moments and the big changes in our lives AND how to design rituals in our daily lives to create a foundation from which we can flourish.
Mindfulness through making with Nina Elegba
If you want to find a way to switch off from work fully, fill up your cup and experience a zen-like peace instantly, then get making.
We have a deep human need to make things with our hands and doing it has huge health and happiness benefits. So in this episode, Club You member, queen of mindfulness through making and founder of ‘Recess Living’, Nina Elegba talks about the different ways we can find mindfulness through making and craft our way to calm.
Goodbye to toxic productivity & hello to a new way of working
Tamu Thomas has made it her life’s work to help people unplug from toxic productivity and find a new way of work that nourishes us.
In this conversation we dive into toxic productivity: what it is, why so many of us work in a way that is not good for us and, most important of all, what we can do to change that.
This conversation truly had a profound impact on me and I feel like something has really shifted in how I'm approaching work and my self-care as I work.
Understanding your attachment style with Vicki Pavitt
Attachment theory - the way we relate to others, based on our formative years, is an increasingly hot topic. And with good reason. Understanding your attachment style - anxious attachment, avoidant attachment or disordered attachment - can help enormously in your cultivating loving and secure relationships, whether you are dating, in a long term relationship, happily single or somewhere in between.
And the person that has really taught me in depth about attachment theory over the years has been my dear friend and former Project Love partner, Vicki Pavitt.
And so that is why I invited her into Club You to dive deep into the topic with me.
Boundaries with Nat Lue
We all know boundaries are important, but they can be so hard to put in place, particularly if you’re a people pleaser and saying ‘no’ feelings terrifying. That’s why I invited Nat Lue into Club You to share with us HOW to go about laying boundaries in your life and the joy of learning to finally say ‘NO’.
How to thrive with Suzy Reading
Thriving in a fast-paced digital world can be challenging to say the least. And over the years I’ve come to realise that we can’t just expect ourselves to fall into a way of life that has us thriving. We have to design it that way. Otherwise you can get too easily lost in the rush of it all.
And there is noone I know that teaches this better than Suzy Reading. In this powerful conversation she invites us to look at how we live and work and what we can do to design our lives so that we THRIVE.
