Don’t wait for permission

Last week I was interviewed for a podcast where I talked about why I had turned down a double book (or, rather, journal) deal to self-publish and why I’m so passionate about championing self-publishing as an option for wannabe book writers, because if someone has a dream of writing a book, I WANT them to write that book and I don’t want them thinking that they need a publishing deal in order to do so.

And that goes for any dream you have. We can so often think we have to wait for permission to be able to do what we want to do or be who we want to be. But that is absolutely not the case.

And so THAT is the topic of today’s Pep-Talk!
